Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are a registered contractor with the City of Indianapolis and carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request before any work begins.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. In-home consultations and written estimates are free within our service area. For larger projects that need drawings, we explain any design fees up front before you commit.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Indianapolis and Marion County, plus Lawrence, Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Greenfield, Cumberland, Beech Grove, Greenwood and surrounding Central Indiana communities.
How long does a typical project take?
Bathrooms usually take 2–4 weeks, kitchens 4–7 weeks, basements 5–8 weeks and additions 3–5 months. You will receive a written schedule before work starts.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. We obtain all required building, electrical and plumbing permits and schedule inspections. Permit fees are listed separately in your estimate.
How do payments work?
We use a deposit followed by progress payments tied to completed milestones. We never ask for full payment up front. We accept check, ACH bank transfer and major credit cards.
Is your work warrantied?
All workmanship carries a 2-year written warranty, and manufacturer warranties apply to materials such as shingles, windows and fixtures.
Can I live at home during the remodel?
In most cases, yes. We use dust barriers, protect floors and keep a clean, organized work area. For kitchens we can help set up a temporary kitchen space.
Do you work with insurance claims?
Yes. For storm and water damage we document the damage, meet with your adjuster and provide detailed scopes of work.
Who will I talk to during the project?
Owner Gary Rutherford is involved in every estimate, and each job has a dedicated project manager you can call or text directly.
